Before Echo operates on a prepaid credit system. Credits are required to power Echo voice interactions. All purchases made through the Platform are subject to this Billing & Refund Policy. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined herein.
One (1) credit equals one (1) minute of voice interaction, or such other unit as defined by the Platform. Credits are prepaid and must be purchased before use. Credits are non-transferable between accounts. Credits have no cash value and do not represent stored monetary funds. Credits may not be resold, redistributed, or assigned to any third party.
Before Echo reserves the right to modify the definition, value, or allocation of credits at any time, with or without prior notice.
All pricing is subject to change at any time without prior notice. Pricing changes may apply immediately or prospectively at our sole discretion. Promotional pricing, discounts, or introductory offers are temporary and granted at the sole discretion of Before Echo. Operator Mode pricing may change without notice. Platform features, tiers, and credit allocations may be added, removed, or modified at any time.
Continued use of the Platform after a pricing change constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing.
All purchases are final. No refunds will be issued for unused credits. No refunds will be issued for partially used credit packages. No refunds will be issued for Operator Mode activation after access has been granted.
Refunds may be granted solely at the discretion of Before Echo in cases of: verified technical error resulting in incorrect charges, duplicate charges confirmed by our billing system, or fraudulent transactions verified by Before Echo.
Refund abuse, chargeback fraud, or bad-faith payment disputes may result in immediate and permanent account termination without recourse.
If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated against Before Echo: account access may be immediately suspended, all associated Echoes may be deactivated, Operator privileges may be permanently revoked, and any outstanding balances may become immediately due.
Before Echo reserves the right to contest any chargeback it determines to be fraudulent, abusive, or made in bad faith. Users who initiate chargebacks waive the right to continued platform access during the dispute resolution process.
Before Echo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to: violation of our Terms of Service, abuse of the AI system or voice infrastructure, harmful, illegal, or unethical use of Echoes, general platform misuse, unresolved payment disputes, or excessive system strain impacting platform stability.
Upon termination: remaining credits may be forfeited without compensation, no refunds will be issued, and all Echo deployments may be disabled immediately.
Use of the Platform is a privilege, not a guaranteed right.
Operator Mode access is license-based, non-transferable, and revocable at any time at the sole discretion of Before Echo. Before Echo reserves the right to: modify Operator limits and quotas, adjust client Echo allowances, change credit allocation structures, and revoke Operator status — even if an Operator has deployed multiple client Echoes.
By activating Operator Mode, users acknowledge and accept that platform control decisions are made at the sole discretion of Before Echo, and users waive the right to challenge such decisions to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Users are solely responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or governmental fees in their respective jurisdictions. Before Echo does not collect, remit, or advise on tax obligations unless required by law.
Before Echo may update this Billing & Refund Policy at any time. Updates are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
